Requirements

• Valid, OSHA-recognized crane operator certification (NCCER, NCCCO).
• The employee in this job must be knowledgeable about and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as described in the company’s safety manual.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers. Ability to perceive attributes of objects and materials.
• ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT IN THE UNITED STATES: Webber participates in E-Verify. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States of America to qualify for employment with the Company.

Nice To Haves

• minimum one year experience operating telescoping boom crane is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates a hydraulic, telescoping boom type crane to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights and perform other related operations.
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
• May oil, grease, or otherwise service the machine.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
