We're hiring an experienced Crane Technician to service, inspect, and repair overhead lifting equipment at customer facilities throughout southeast Michigan. This is a field role — you'll run your day out of a company service vehicle, working independently at manufacturing plants, fabrication shops, warehouses, and steel service centers across the territory. Most days you'll be at two or three customer sites, and you'll be home most nights. The work spans the full range of overhead lifting: top-running and under-running bridge cranes, gantries, jib cranes, monorails, and electric wire rope and chain hoists. You'll troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motor and control systems up to 480V, and you'll be the person the customer's maintenance manager talks to when a production crane goes down. Strong technicians in this role become the trusted point of contact for their accounts, which is why we pay for both the technical skill and the judgment to handle a customer well.
