About The Position

At Crème de la Crème, the Enrichment Teacher helps create memorable learning and care experiences for young children and their families. The role implements KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that address each child’s needs, creates a safe and nurturing environment for play and learning, and partners with parents and colleagues to support children’s development and center success. The teacher also leads, coaches, and mentors less experienced teachers by modeling behaviors and providing feedback. The position supports goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and builds positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.

Requirements

• Possess an active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
• Be able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, or be willing to obtain it.
• Be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Be able to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children.
• Be able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with them.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Nice To Haves

• Approved state trainer.
• Two to three years of Early Childhood Education experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
