About The Position

Accenture Song’s Digital Commerce services create innovative, end-to-end customer journeys across digital and physical channels. The CPQ Consultant helps clients transform and optimize CRM, sales, quoting experiences, and pricing strategies. The role combines consulting and industry experience with technical knowledge of sales operations and CPQ solutions, while working in an agile, fast-paced environment and contributing to client and team outcomes. The consultant leads delivery teams, advises clients on customer satisfaction and business metrics, builds long-term client relationships, and helps identify opportunities for Accenture’s consulting practice. The position also includes coaching junior team members and delivering large-scale CPQ implementations, with hands-on contributions to software design, development, and implementation. The consultant resolves integrations and interfaces between back-end systems and optimizes application performance and scalability.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience architecting CPQ solutions, including product modeling, configuration and rules (CTO and ETO); guided configuration and selling; pricing and discounting; workflow and approvals; quoting, document generation and e-signature; contracts, subscriptions and renewals; and quote-to-order conversion.
At least 2 years of experience using CPQ platform technologies such as Conga, SAP CPQ, Oracle CPQ Cloud, PROS, or Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
Ability to contribute hands-on to development to support the development team and validate code and/or scripts.
Proven work experience in the CPQ space.
Consulting and industry experience, with knowledge of sales team functions and operations.
Clear and effective communication and an open, relatable manner with clients and colleagues.
Ability to perform well in an agile, fast-paced working environment and balance leadership with contributing to team efforts.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or business.
Oracle CPQ Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Admin, or Salesforce Developer certification.
Conga CPQ Product Certification.
Experience with cloud application architectures, data models, configuration, and customization.
Experience with application integration methods including web service standards (WSDL, REST, SOAP, XML), middleware/ETL, and bulk extract/load.
Experience with several of the following languages or standards: SQL, SOQL, SOSL, Java, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, HTML/XHTML, CSS, XML/XSL, BML, Apex, or Visualforce.
Experience in application or enterprise architecture, systems integration and development, and package implementation, with knowledge of interactive design.
Expertise working with other relevant CPQ packaged solutions.
Firm understanding of web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object-oriented design.
Strong leadership skills, including facilitating team and client meetings effectively and delivering constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

Help deliver large-scale CPQ solution implementations, contributing hands-on to software design, development, and implementation.
Resolve integration and interfacing issues between back-end systems.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Support development teams hands-on and validate code and/or scripts.
