Requirements

  • Experience with Centralized Patch Management (CPM)
  • Experience with software and patch deployments
  • Experience with security compliance activities
  • Experience with system reporting
  • Tier II/III support experience
  • In-depth analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Remediation of patch and package installation failures
  • Installing or removing patches
  • Proactive maintenance and monitoring of system compliance
  • O&M activities for enterprise tools
  • Maintenance actions, engineering changes, upgrades, and remediation of potential security vulnerabilities
  • Using SCCM to gather and review inventory of systems
  • Reviewing SCCM status messages on Distribution Point updates
  • Reviewing advertisement statuses, client patch package installation successes and failures
  • Altering/creating/deleting SCCM advertisements within the CPM scope
  • Support for SLM Projects (design, development, testing, deployment)
  • Support for A&A efforts
  • Development of systems administration processes for 24/7 Operations personnel
  • Support Configuration and Change Management processes

Responsibilities

  • Support Centralized Patch Management (CPM) customers located overseas and domestically in software and patch deployments, security compliance activities, and system reporting.
  • Provide Tier II/III Support to include in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of issues escalated by Foreign Post site administrators. Duties include remediation of patch and package installation failures, installing or removing patches, and proactively maintaining and monitoring system compliance.
  • Perform O&M activities related to the management of enterprise tools to include maintenance actions, engineering changes, upgrades, and remediation of potential security vulnerabilities. Duties include using SCCM to gather and review inventory of systems located at each site, review SCCM status messages on Distribution Point updates, review advertisement statuses, client patch package installation successes and failures and alter/create/delete SCCM advertisements within the CPM scope.
  • Support SLM Projects to include design, development, testing, and deployment of new or enhanced capabilities.
  • Support A&A efforts and the development of systems administration processes for 24/7 Operations personnel.
  • Support Configuration and Change Management processes to obtain approval and document system modifications and software/patch deployments.
