Requirements

  • Completed or near completion of an undergraduate degree and CPA pre-requisite courses
  • Plans to pursue a CPA designation
  • Strong client service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Involvement in tax planning and tax provision work.
  • Collaborate internally with other client service departments to gather information to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare Canadian Income Tax Returns.
  • Learn tax compliance rules and regulations.
  • Be an active participant in all internal firm meetings and events and provide a notable in-office presence for the tax team.
  • Have a customer-service focused attitude to both internal team members and external clients.
