About The Position

Smythe LLP is seeking students for full-time Articling positions in their Audit Practice Group at the Vancouver, BC office, commencing in September 2027. To be considered, candidates must have fulfilled all CPA PREP prerequisites and be eligible to commence the CPA PEP program. This program is pre-approved within the CPA’s External Audit Pathway. Requirements

• Fulfilled all CPA PREP prerequisites.
• Eligible to commence the CPA PEP program.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a dedicated coach for professional development and career growth.
• Develop expertise to complete audit engagements for privately-held companies across various industries (technology, real estate, mining, hospitality, pensions, not-for-profits, etc.).
• Build knowledge and skills required to prepare corporate and other tax returns.
• Work directly with clients to cultivate professional relationships.
• Receive mentorship through the CPA program.
• Receive comprehensive training and support for academic and professional success.
• Gain valuable skills and experiences to assist with reaching full career potential.
