Join a litigation team where collaboration matters, mentorship is intentional, and your growth as an attorney is a firm-wide priority. Marshall Dennehey, P.C., a nationally recognized Am Law 200 civil defense law firm with more than 60 years of dedicated service, is seeking Attorneys to join our New York City office with an interest in insurance coverage and appellate litigation. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who enjoy analytical writing and analysis, but who are also drawn toward the excitement of trial advocacy including appellate advocacy and trial monitoring. This role provides a balanced mix of research, writing, hands on litigation and client interface. Our coverage group represents insurance companies in navigating all manner of coverage questions, filing declaratory judgement actions and defending coverage and bad faith suits involving all lines of insurance. Additionally, the interlocutory appeal climate in NY gives a unique opportunity for an attorney to hone their appellate advocacy skills. At Marshall Dennehey, we invest in our attorneys. While you are not expected to independently manage cases from inception through trial on day one, you will work closely with experienced shareholders and associates who are committed to mentoring and skill development. Through hands-on experience, continuous feedback, and individualized goal-setting, you will gain the confidence and capability to grow into full case management at your own pace. We pride ourselves on a diverse, inclusive, and open-door culture where ideas are welcomed, collaboration is encouraged, and attorneys at all levels have direct access to leadership. Our attorneys thrive because they are supported. Marshall Dennehey seeks attorneys who are looking for a true “forever home.” We value steady career growth, internal advancement, and attorneys who want to build lasting professional relationships—while helping others succeed along the way.
