Cover Supervisor (Term-Time Only)
About The Position
Weston College is seeking a Cover Supervisor to supervise classes when their usual teaching staff are absent. The role involves delivering pre-set work, with limited lesson planning or preparation, and ensuring that students remain engaged and focused. When cover is not required, the postholder will provide one-to-one, small-group, or in-class support where needed. This is a full-time, term-time-only position based at the Loxton Campus in Weston-super-Mare, working 37 hours per week for 38 weeks per year. All aspects of the role are completed during those 38 working weeks; there is no expectation to complete preparation, marking, or other administrative work during non-working times. The work requires flexibility and adaptability because daily duties may vary. Interviews will take place on-site at a college campus in Weston-super-Mare.
Requirements
- Experience teaching at Level 2 or above.
- A degree-level qualification.
