About The Position

As an entry-level team member at Meijer, the Courtesy Clerk supports retail tasks related to store services, products, and customer service. Requirements

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work in service desk, store entrance, check lane, and parking lot areas.
• Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
