ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY As a Court Services Assistant III, you’ll step into a dynamic role at the heart of the justice system, where your expertise ensures that cases move smoothly and fairly through the courts. This advanced journey-level position offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex assignments across criminal, civil, probate, juvenile, and appeals, while working closely with judges, attorneys, and the public. You’ll be trusted to review and process critical legal documents, prepare and manage court calendars, issue writs and warrants, and support courtroom operations during hearings and trials. Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Three (3) years working in a business environment, including general administrative, clerical, and/or retail experience, providing customer service, cash handling, and utilizing basic computer skills
  • United States citizenship
  • An associate's degree or equivalent number of units (60 semester or 90 quarter) from an accredited college
  • One (1) year of general administrative, clerical, and/or retail experience providing customer service, cash handling, and utilizing basic computer skills
