An official Court Reporter provides verbatim reporting of court proceedings. The Court Reporter must prepare accurate and timely transcripts pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 40. Court Reporters can be assigned to any of the five court locations throughout Maricopa County and work in any court department, including but not limited to grand jury, criminal, civil, family, juvenile, probate/mental health, and administrative hearings. The Judicial Branch provides reimbursement for employees’ professional licensure/certification costs required to qualify for and maintain employment, or to legally perform their job. The reimbursement applies to costs associated with the maintenance of the required license/certification, not the initial costs to become licensed/certified.
