The Seventh Judicial District is seeking internal applicants to fill a Court Operations Supervisor position to work in the Clay County Court Administration office. This position is being posted as an internal promotional opportunity available to current Minnesota Judicial Branch Employees. This Court Operations Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of Clay County’s Family and Civil team, administering and enforcing all relevant rules and policies. The Team consists of six Court Operations Associates, and one Court Operations Specialist. The supervisor is responsible for reviewing, evaluation, planning and streamlining daily functions including preparation and review of court calendars and compliance with SCAO audit directives. This is a high-profile position that involves frequent contact with judges, partnering agencies and the public. Candidates that have the requisite leadership skills but not a background in the assigned work areas are encouraged to apply. Typical hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, with some flexibility based on business needs. Initial days off: Saturday, Sunday, and Court Designated Holidays. Work is performed under the general supervision of the court administrator and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and on the basis of results obtained.
