About The Position

The Third Judicial District is accepting applications for a service-oriented Court Operations Associate to join the Dodge County Court Administration Team. In this fast-paced and detail-oriented role, you will be responsible for processing cases and assisting court customers and justice partners in order to provide justice through a system that assures equal access for the fair and timely resolution of cases and controversies. The work location for this position is the Dodge County Courthouse located at 22 6th Street East, Mantorville, MN 55955.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of relevant job experience or greater, which may include but is not limited to customer service, administrative work, office, and clerical work

Nice To Haves

Certificate or degree in a related field
Considerable knowledge of court procedures, policies, and records management
Experience working with the court's electronic case processing system

Responsibilities

Perform the full range of court operation work that may involve responsibility for a specific area of court case processing
Perform a variety of advanced clerical functions and multiple case types
Provide assistance to attorneys, parties, self-represented litigants, judges, and the public by responding to a variety of questions in-person, over the phone, by mail, and/or electronically
Provide courtroom support by working with judges, court reporters, and other justice partners
Review, enter, record, and update case information using an electronic case processing system and related applications and equipment
Schedule and maintain court calendars
Receive, process, and receipt payments due to the court
Attend court and assist by calling cases, taking notes, and handling documents in the courtroom
May perform the duties of an Electronic Recording Equipment Operator (EREO) including recording and monitoring court proceedings
