About The Position

The Woodlands Country Club, part of Arcis Golf, is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join their Racquet Sports team as a Court Maintenance Attendant. This part-time position is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of court conditions, cleanliness, and facility presentation across one of the premier racquet facilities in Texas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and is committed to delivering an exceptional experience for members and guests.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in maintaining high-quality playing surfaces.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.
  • Positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in court maintenance, landscaping, groundskeeping, golf course maintenance, or facility maintenance is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily maintenance of Har-Tru clay courts, including watering, rolling, lining, sweeping, patching, and surface repairs.
  • Maintain hard courts and pickleball courts by blowing, cleaning, pressure washing, and reporting maintenance concerns.
  • Inspect courts daily to ensure safe and exceptional playing conditions.
  • Maintain court accessories, including nets, center straps, windscreens, scorekeepers, benches, umbrellas, and water stations.
  • Operate and maintain court maintenance equipment, utility vehicles, rollers, blowers, sweepers, and other tools safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with facility setup and breakdown for leagues, tournaments, camps, social events, and special club functions.
  • Help maintain surrounding grounds, landscaping, walkways, and common areas throughout the racquet facility.
  • Monitor court conditions during inclement weather and communicate any closures or safety concerns.
  • Assist with minor facility repairs and preventative maintenance projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area while following all safety procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional service by interacting professionally with members, guests, and fellow team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics or Racquet Management team.
