About The Position

Facilitates information flow between internal units, attorneys, and the court. Maintains databases and logs related to Child Support files. Files Child Support documents with various court systems and works to establish and maintain positive partnerships with court staff and judges in both state and tribal courts.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or two years (60 credit hours) required.
  • Three (3) years of related work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in case management systems and legal databases.
  • High ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new practices, procedures, or software.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
  • The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
  • Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
