You will serve as a key point of coordination between attorneys, clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals, making strong communication and attention to detail essential. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience handling court filings for a U.S. law firm
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced law firm environment
  • Experience with e-filing pleadings, motions, and court documents
  • Experience with discovery support and document management
  • Experience drafting, revising, and formatting legal documents and correspondence
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable managing legal assistant, calendaring, case management, administrative, and client support responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and Judicial Assistants
  • Clio Manage, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Outlook, Florida e-Filing Portal, DocuSign

Nice To Haves

  • Florida e-Filing experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with legal billing and time entry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Calendar court deadlines, hearings, depositions, meetings, and attorney schedules.
  • Prepare and e-file pleadings, motions, and court documents.
  • Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks and filings.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
  • Verify billable and non-billable activities as needed.
  • Support multiple attorneys with legal and administrative tasks.
  • Draft, revise, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence.
  • Review, organize, and maintain discovery materials and case documents.
  • Open new matters and maintain accurate file organization.
  • Manage and organize matters in Clio Manage.
  • Provide general administrative and client support as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and Judicial Assistants.
  • Assist with billing support and time entry.

Benefits

  • Monthly Compensation: 1150 USD to 1220 USD
