The Jackson County Circuit Court in Medford, Oregon, is hiring a Court Facilitator. In this role, you will help self-represented litigants navigate court case issues and complete their legal documents. You will provide an overview of court forms and processes, explain next steps and expected timelines, perform child support calculations, and help litigants and attorneys use the court system. You will also provide educational materials and information about available resources as needed. The support you provide will be in person, over the phone, through video, and in writing. Additionally, you will prepare judgments and orders, perform data entry, scan documents, docket, and schedule cases. You will help create and maintain forms packets, brochures, and literature for family law matters. You will also prepare a variety of statistical and informational reports. Collaboration is an important part of this position. You will consult with judges, partner with various departments, external agencies, and community organizations, help the Southern Oregon Facilitation Initiative and the local Family Law Advisory Council, and participate in local and statewide committees, coalitions, and work groups. You will also create and facilitate training for internal and external stakeholders. Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
