Under general supervision, performs legal clerical work in the support of the operations of a Municipal Court. The primary duties and responsibilities include responding to complex inquiries, preparing correspondence and legal documents, maintaining legal files, entering and maintaining data in an automated court case management system, receipting documents, and answering telephones. The role also involves preparing various court documents, coordinating jury panels, acting as bailiff, setting hearings, auditing court files, maintaining bookkeeping and accounting records, supporting courtroom services, preparing case files, ensuring adherence to legal standards, filing disposition records, preparing warrants and summons, supporting bond/restitution processing, preparing minute entries, collecting and balancing fines and fees, and responding to information requests.
