About The Position
The School of Religious Studies is hiring a Course Lecturer to teach RELG 390D1: Elementary Biblical Hebrew for Fall 2026. This is a 3-credit course scheduled to meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:35 am to 12:55 pm at BIRKS 004A. Requirements
- Minimum of a Ph.D. in religious studies, or PhD advanced candidacy.
- Evidence of superior teaching ability, in the form of prior teaching.
- CV.
- Proposed course outline.
- Evidence of teaching performance (teaching and/or TA evaluations).
- The names of two referees.
- MCLIU application form.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Willing to work in the province of Quebec.
- Proficient in English communication, both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Teach RELG 390D1: Elementary Biblical Hebrew for Fall 2026.
- Present the course according to a proposed outline/syllabus.
