About The Position

The Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University is seeking applications for a Course Lecturer to teach Coding Foundations for Analytics (INSY 660 075) during the Summer 2026 term. This course will cover analytics and Python-based instruction, including data processing, manipulation, and programming concepts using Python and relevant libraries. The course is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 08:35 to 11:25, starting July 13, 2026, and ending August 19, 2026. Applications will be evaluated based on the collective agreement between McGill University and the MCLIU, with preference given to candidates with the most priority points. Requirements

  • Master's or PhD degree in Information Systems or related field.
  • Extensive (3-5 years) experience in analytics and Python-based instruction.
  • Experience teaching Python-intensive, analytics-focused courses.
  • Ability to teach data processing/manipulation and programming concepts using Python, including relevant python libraries.
