About The Position

McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for ECSE 428 (Software Engineering Practice) for the Fall 2026 term. This is a 3-credit course with a schedule of Mondays from 11:35 am to 2:25 pm, located in ENGMD 279. The salary for this position is $11824. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the course and meeting with the Associate Chair (Academic) to present the Course Outline for approval prior to the semester. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer or Software engineering.
• Minimum of three years' experience in teaching Software Engineering at the university level.
• Licensed to practice engineering in Canada (e.g. member of OIQ or PEO).
• Demonstrated knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Understanding of cross-cultural practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach to teaching.
