The Department of Sociology at McGill University is inviting applications to teach the course SOCI 235 – Technology and Society in Fall 2026. This course examines the extent to which technological developments impose constraints on ways of arranging social relationships in bureaucratic organizations and in the wider society, and the compatibility of current social structures with the effective utilization of technology.
