The Peter Guo-hua Fu School of Architecture at McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for the Fall 2026 term to teach ARCH 512 Architectural Modelling. This course is designed for U2 B.Sc.(Arch.) students and focuses on the practices, discourses, and technical systems of Building Information Modelling (BIM). The course structure includes lectures, tutorials, and critical design projects. Lectures will involve expanding on readings and facilitating discussions. Tutorials, in collaboration with Teaching Assistants, will focus on active learning exercises covering theoretical, design, and technical aspects. Critical design projects will involve guiding students and providing feedback as they synthesize course material to address design prompts. The primary software used for BIM in this course is Autodesk’s Revit®.
