About The Position

This course introduces students to corruption as a concept, operationalizing it within a global context as defined by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. The course will include studies of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and its applications in ratifying states, and additional topics may include public sector corruption; private sector corruption; detection and investigation of corruption; and anti-corruption partnership. This course curriculum was developed in partnership with the UNODC.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree
  • MA in Criminology, Sociology, or a related discipline
  • PhD or PhD in progress preferred
  • Work and/or research experience relating to the substantive area of global crime prevention initiatives
  • Prior teaching experience
  • CV (Maximum of 10 pages, with 12-point font and 2.54 cm margins)

  • Verification of highest degree (for external applicants)
  • Name and contact information for referees

  • Teach UNDC200 VAB – Anti-Corruption course.
  • Develop and deliver course curriculum.
  • Assess student performance.
  • Provide feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with the UNODC on curriculum development.
