About The Position

An exploration of critical theories of criminology from 1970s to the present including such topics as social constructivist theories, Marxist theories, feminist theories, critical race theory, left-realism, routine activities theory, neo-classical theories, developmental criminology, post-modernism, Foucauldian governmentality theory, and integrated theories.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree
  • MA in Criminology or Sociology
  • CV (Maximum of 10 pages, with 12-point font and 2.54 cm margins)
  • Candidate Application Form (CAF)
  • Verification of highest degree (for external applicants)
  • Name and contact information for referees

Nice To Haves

  • PhD preferred
  • Prior teaching experience in theory is an asset
  • Teaching Dossier and/or relevant supplementary documentation (Maximum of 25 pages in total, with 12-point font and 2.54 cm margins)
