About The Position

eCornell is seeking experienced professionals to facilitate its AI/ML Technology and Architecture certificate programs. Facilitators support the delivery of content created by Cornell faculty; they are not course authors or adjunct faculty. The programs help working professionals move from using AI to building AI-powered solutions through hands-on Python work. Facilitators lead live discussions on machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, and AI application and agent design. They provide personalized written and recorded-video feedback on discussions, assignments, coding projects, and written analyses, and coach learners as they troubleshoot code and apply AI/ML techniques, architectural trade-offs, and responsible AI practices in business and technical contexts. The role also includes managing online discussions, responding to student inquiries, tracking progress, and fostering an interactive online learning experience. The commitment is to facilitate at least one to two courses per month, with consistent preparation and engagement. Facilitators complete onboarding and training that includes shadowing live courses, debrief sessions, and learning the assigned certificate program. They also participate in ongoing training and professional development. The position is remote and open to applicants located anywhere in the United States; it is based in Ithaca, New York. It is a casual, non-benefits-eligible position. Employment visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are unavailable.
