The Course Coordinator will manage the student experience in collections of courses or educational offerings to ensure a quality experience for students and faculty at scale. This role involves collaboration with individual faculty members and course assistants, overseeing learning support through onboarding, orientation, and management of student support resources. The coordinator will design and develop learning support processes and systems with continual updates and improvements, responding to student feedback. They will maintain accurate records in Stevens’ systems (LMS, CRMs, Workday), collaborate with faculty and student support services to promote persistence and retention, and monitor/report on student engagement trends and course performance metrics. This position serves as the primary point of contact between student course support and faculty, instructional design, and program leadership, offering insights into course content and pedagogical methods to ensure a consistent student experience and high-quality learning outcomes. The role also includes maintaining course support project management plans, communicating best practices to faculty and teams, and maintaining intellectual curiosity for the content areas within the Online Programs portfolio. Duties may require evening and weekend working hours.
