About The Position

The Department of Bioengineering is hiring undergraduate student course assistants to support the Introduction to Bioengineering course for the fall 2026 term. This role involves proof-reading course content, participating in related research, assisting with content classification and indexing, and linking article topics to the Bioengineering undergraduate curriculum. Additionally, the role includes assisting with research related to website design and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Currently registered in an undergrad program at McGill
  • Have taken BIEN 200
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Experience with creative writing and proof-reading
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located
  • English communication both verbally and in writing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Hyperbook editing is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Proof-reading content of BIEN 200 and participate in related research
  • Assist in content classification trees, and indexing articles
  • Linking article topics to the existing Bioengineering undergraduate curriculum
  • Assist in research related to website design and maintenance
