About The Position

A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist a Course Supervisor. This role involves assisting the Professor in preparing, grading, and reviewing homework sets, assignments, quizzes, and exams. The Teaching Assistant will also prepare, conduct, and lead tutorials, read course materials, and communicate with students regarding MyCourses.

Requirements

Applicant must be a Graduate Student.
Applicant must be authorized to work in Canada.
Applicant must be willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based/located.
Must have English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Applicant must be familiar with topics in biomolecular engineering, including biomolecular thermodynamics and kinetics, biomolecular structure and function, biomolecular simulation and modeling, biomolecular design, systems biology, and synthetic biology.

Nice To Haves

Preferred applicant will have a strong interdisciplinary background and experience related to the theory and application of biomolecular engineering.

Responsibilities

Assist Professor in preparing, grading, and reviewing HW sets & other assignments, quizzes, exams.
