About The Position

Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent JK to Grade 12 International Baccalaureate and Round Square day and boarding school located on two campuses in Victoria, BC, Canada. Requirements

  • Strong experience as a teacher or teaching assistant.
  • Solid foundation in supporting literacy and numeracy learning at the elementary level.

Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in their delivery of International Baccalaureate (IB) units that incorporate the BC curriculum.
  • Support and inspire students’ academic, co-curricular and personal growth through a high level of pastoral care.
  • Make an active contribution to extensive co-curricular programs.
  • Participate fully in the culture of the independent school community.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and colleagues to support engaging, inclusive learning experiences that deepen understanding while nurturing student well-being.
  • Contribute to a vibrant learning environment where every student feels safe, supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
