Courier/Full-Time/2nd Shift/Rosemont
About The Position
This is a full-time Courier position on the 2nd shift, working every Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The role involves transporting and delivering assigned items, including medical specimens and supplies, while ensuring their integrity and confidentiality. Responsibilities include proper handling, storage, and transport of sensitive and hazardous materials, adhering to schedules, routes, and safety protocols, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and maintenance. The courier will also communicate effectively with clients, staff, and dispatch, respond to urgent requests, document deliveries, and support workflow improvements. The job requires the ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs, and using freight equipment as needed. Collecting payments or signatures may also be required.
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- None (Experience Required)
- Strong communication, customer service.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient related information.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
