About The Position

Drives and operates company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages weighing more than 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance, as customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Ability to remain alert and work safely.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
