About The Position

SPS Global is seeking a dependable and service-driven Courier Driver (Floater) to support logistics and delivery operations in Culver City, California. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient courier, freight, and dock support services while maintaining operational accuracy and exceptional customer service. The Courier Driver (Floater) supports SPS Global’s logistics and distribution operations by coordinating and executing parcel, mail, and freight deliveries across designated locations. This role ensures safe, timely delivery and efficient material handling while supporting shipping and receiving operations. In addition to courier duties, this position assists with dock operations and freight coordination to maintain smooth logistics workflows and high service standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work assigned hours as determined by manager

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in courier services, freight handling, or logistics roles
  • Experience supporting dock or warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with delivery tracking systems and logistics tools

Responsibilities

  • Navigate predefined delivery routes via company vehicle to deliver mail and parcels safely and efficiently
  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery of packages across designated locations
  • Maintain accurate logs and time stamps for all deliveries and pickups
  • Support chain-of-custody procedures and documentation requirements
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight in accordance with safety and operational procedures
  • Support the organization and management of shipping and receiving areas
  • Coordinate proper distribution and handling of freight shipments
  • Maintain organized dock operations to support efficient workflow
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness
  • Maintain delivery vehicles according to company maintenance standards
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies when operating vehicles
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and SPS employees
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive service attitude
  • Proactively assist other operational areas when needed
  • Seek additional work during downtime to support team productivity
