About the position
We are seeking a strong candidate to lead the planning and operations for bringing Korean selection to customers in Taiwan. The role involves building solutions to enhance the customer experience, collaborating with internal and external partners, defining and measuring business performance metrics, and developing and managing standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate should have relevant work experience in cross-border business, process improvement skills, and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English and Korean is required, and proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Builds solutions to address and wow customers, including selection availability, on-site experience, and customer communication.
- Engages and partners with internal teams in Korea and Taiwan, as well as external partners.
- Defines, executes, and measures relevant metrics for business performance and operational execution.
- Develops and manages standard operating procedures (SOPs) for item onboarding and compliance.
- Monitors and reports on key performance indicators such as onboarding SLAs and operational efficiency.
- Prioritizes work in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Balances strategy with strong operational skills to optimize business processes.
- Utilizes technology and systems to drive simplification and change.
- Maintains high standards and a bias toward action.
- Ensures business goals and plans align with customer satisfaction.
- Generates new ideas and experiments for consideration.
- Proficient in speaking and writing in English and Korean.
- Preferred qualifications include Chinese language proficiency, experience in international or cross-border eCommerce, and proficiency in data analytics tools such as Tableau and SQL.
Requirements
- Over 5-7 yrs of relevant work experience in cross-border business BM/PM role
- Experience with process improvement, process design, and implementation
- Experience with creating and implementing standard operating procedures
- Monitor and report upward on key performance indicators such as onboarding SLAs, operational efficiency saved, incremental sales via data integrity projects
- Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment with many asks and multiple stakeholders
