Requirements

• Two years of experience as a County Caseworker 2; or
• A bachelor's degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and three years of professional social casework experience in a public or private social services agency; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mandated reporter and follow all required procedures.
• Arrange services, lead meetings, and support complex cases across mental health and social service systems.
• Work with providers, schools, courts, and agencies to share information and support families.
• Coordinate referrals to treatment programs and help consumers transition between levels of care.
• Prepare letters, reports, and documents while maintaining accurate program records.
• Assist consumers by advocating for needs, supporting grievances, and helping guide service planning.
