Requirements

• Two years of experience as a County Caseworker 2
• A bachelor's degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and three years of professional social casework experience in a public or private social services agency
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences
• Must be able to perform essential job functions
• Must pass a background investigation
• Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mandated reporter at all times
• Provide intensive case management services to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness
• Maintain required billable service units and enter monthly data by the established deadline
• Complete all necessary daily documentation such as forms, case notes, reports, and correspondence
• Obtain information from consumers, families, and others to complete mental health assessments
• Develop and implement individual service plans based on assessments and interviews
