Country Manager, USA

PartlyAustin, TX
Onsite

About The Position

This is Partly's most consequential commercial hire of 2026. As Country Manager, USA, you will own the US market entry and scale for Partly. You'll be based in Austin, leading a growing US team, and making the calls that determine whether Partly becomes the AI for the US repair industry. The US automotive repair market is a massive opportunity, with over $150B+ of B2B parts sold annually. Partly's advantage is Interpreter, a foundation model purpose-built for automotive parts, which offers unparalleled accuracy. This role is critical for seizing the market opportunity, requiring someone on the ground in Austin to lead market entry, customer sequencing, partnerships, and team-building.

Requirements

  • Lead teams through ambiguity without losing people.
  • Hire, develop, and lead commercial teams in high-growth environments where the strategy was still being written.
  • Think like a founder: make decisions with incomplete information, know when to go wide and when to go deep, and treat company money responsibly.
  • Possess executive presence to open doors and commercial depth to close them, being credible with C-suite, carrier procurement, and MSO operations leaders.
  • Understand AI-native infrastructure sufficiently to sell it, including the implications of selling a foundation model into a new industry.
  • Experience in high-growth technology businesses entering a new market, specifically Series A-C companies that achieved significant market presence in a geography or vertical.
  • Comfort operating across multiple layers of a complex business simultaneously, understanding how to sequence revenue streams from infrastructure, networks, subscriptions, and take rates.

Nice To Haves

  • Built a commercial motion in the US automotive repair industry from scratch, with deep knowledge of MSOs, carriers, DRP relationships, and industry associations.
  • Closed first-of-kind enterprise deals and built the subsequent playbook, demonstrating experience in getting major enterprises to sign contracts for new product categories.
  • Experience operating across multiple layers of a complex business simultaneously, understanding how different revenue streams interact and how to tell a coherent commercial story.

Responsibilities

  • Own the US market entry decision, including defining target segments, go-to-market strategy, partnership priorities, and team build-out.
  • Land foundational partner agreements across the repair ecosystem, including Tier 1 and 2 MSOs, carriers, OEM dealer networks, software platforms, and distributors.
  • Convert active pilots to enterprise contracts by building commercial frameworks, pilot structures, and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
  • Launch Partly's AI tools into the repairer market, focusing on the value proposition of removing the parts procurement burden and estimate errors.
  • Shape Partly's product and proposition for the US market by acting as the voice of the US customer and collaborating with Product and Solutions teams.
  • Build and lead the US team, including enterprise sales, field sales, solutions engineering, and marketing functions.
  • Establish Partly's brand and presence in the US repair industry by representing the company at industry events and building a strong network.

Benefits

  • Relocation assistance for those relocating to join the company.
  • Travel and accommodation covered for quarterly "Season Openers" to join the full team.
