About The Position

The Countertop Fabricator is responsible for ensuring countertops are cut and finished to meet customer expectations in a timely and accurate manner. This role involves working primarily in a warehouse environment where the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 75 lbs. regularly, walk, reach, grasp and bend while moving about their workstation and facility. The position may require overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors or dust. All required PPE must be worn at all times while in the warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Detail oriented
• Experience with power tools (router, nail gun, iron, miter saw, tape measure)
• Dependable/Flexible
• Good communication skills
• Team Player
• Customer focused

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years previous post-form laminate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut, Grind, and Palletize Countertops to customer specifications.
• Ensure timely delivery of products based on production schedule.
• QC product prior to sending to shipping.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Operate lift truck in a safe, clean condition following all safety standards.
• Attends all meetings and training as required.
• Ensures compliance to quality, 6S, and OSHA programs; assures conformity to all company and customer requirements.
