About The Position

Ian's Pizza is opening a new location in the Harbor District of Milwaukee, WI, in July 2026. This role is for a Counter Server who will be the friendly face of the restaurant, responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, operating the register, managing slices from the ovens, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. The position involves handling phone and counter pick-up orders, collaborating with the production crew, and completing shift checklists such as cleaning, stocking, dishwashing, and preparation for subsequent rushes. This is an active job that offers opportunities to learn transferable skills, make friends, and earn tips.

Requirements

Team player who is also able to work independently
Solid effort and good vibes
Able to be on your feet, standing and walking, for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 30lbs regularly
Able to work with equipment that is sharp and/or hot
Able to learn and follow safety and quality protocols
Strong attention to detail
Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
Must be 18+ years of age or older
Must be comfortable speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English in person and over the phone
Must be authorized to work in the US (IDs required at Orientation)
Evening and weekend availability is required

Responsibilities

Greeting guests
Taking orders and ringing them up on the register
Getting slices in and out of the finishing ovens
Keeping the line moving smoothly
Handling pick-up orders by phone and at the counter
Working closely with the production crew to manage pizza flow
Completing shift checklists: cleaning, stocking, doing dishes, and prepping for the next rush
