Ian's Pizza Harbor District - Counter Server
About The Position
You're the friendly face slinging slices and making customers' days! Greeting guests, taking orders and ringing things up on the register, getting slices in and out of the finishing ovens, and keeping the line moving smoothly are your biggest priorities. You'll handle pick-up orders by phone and at the counter, so you have to be comfortable with customer interactions in person and over the phone. You'll work closely with the production crew to manage the pizza flow, ensuring you have all you need for the window and for any online or pick-up orders. In your downtime, you'll knock out your shift checklists: cleaning, stocking, doing dishes, and prepping for the next rush!
Requirements
- Team player who is also able to work independently
- Able to be on your feet, standing and walking, for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 30lbs regularly
- Able to work with equipment that is sharp and/or hot
- Able to learn and follow safety and quality protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
- Must be 18+ years of age or older
- Must be comfortable speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English in person and over the phone
- Must be authorized to work in the US
