About The Position

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Counter Server and Cashier to join our team at Ian's Pizza in Milwaukee, WI. This role is perfect for individuals who are excited about being part of a new and delicious venture. As a counter server, you will gain transferable skills, make friends, and earn money and tips. You will be the face of the restaurant, greeting guests, taking orders, operating the register, managing pizza flow from the ovens, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. This role also involves handling phone and counter pick-up orders, maintaining cleanliness, stocking, and prepping for busy periods. It's an active job that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Team player who can also work independently
• Solid effort and good vibes
• Ability to be on your feet, standing and walking, for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn and follow safety and quality protocols
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Comfortable speaking and understanding English in person and over the phone
• Authorized to work in the US (IDs required at Orientation)
• Evening and weekend availability is required

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests
• Taking orders and ringing them up on the register
• Getting slices in and out of finishing ovens
• Keeping the line moving smoothly
• Handling pick-up orders by phone and at the counter
• Managing pizza flow in coordination with the production crew
• Cleaning, stocking, and doing dishes
• Completing shift checklists
• Prepping for the next rush
