We are hiring immediately for a Counter Sales Associate!

Requirements

• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Previous counter or inside sales experience preferred (not required)
• Warm personality. Someone customers will enjoy speaking with in person and on the phone.
• Good clear verbal and written communication
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Able to multitask counter sales, answering phone and completing assigned projects
• Construction supply knowledge preferred (not required)
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service to our walk-in, phone, and will call customers.
• Processes orders, quotes prices, enters orders into the system and provides order information to customers.
• Pulls orders as required.
• Communicates product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Demonstrates knowledge of products and their applications (provides technical advice, troubleshoots, and helps resolve customers’ problems.)
• Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions, and informing customers of product promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager and Inventory Control Specialist to pull merchandise to restock showroom merchandise
• Clean and organize showroom as needed
• Able to reconcile day cash drawer
• Support Branch Manager as needed
