About The Position

The Sales Counter/Driver Associate plays a vital, hands-on role in nearly every aspect of branch operations — including customer service (both in-person and over the phone), warehouse support, and local deliveries. This position requires a motivated, knowledgeable, and energetic individual who can manage time effectively in a dynamic environment. With each branch staffed by a small, close-knit team of 3–4 people, all associates are cross-trained to ensure flexibility and shared responsibility. Requirements

  • A current or the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. from the floor
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report
  • Ability to use the computer for email, invoicing, and inventory management
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Prior sales, warehousing, and/or delivery experience
  • Pass a required Drug Screen and Background check
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Able to remain professional and courteous at all times

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification provided by Keeling Company
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct customers
  • Customer service support for both In-person and over the phone.
  • Must be able to answer customer questions about specific products/services (e.g., product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
  • Entering orders in the ERP system
  • Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick-up or delivery
  • Develop and stay up-to-date on product knowledge through involvement in Company and vendor-sponsored training programs
  • Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service (especially during our busy season)
  • Assist with merchandising products, managing inventory, and other store tasks while maintaining a safe working environment
  • Make local deliveries to the customer
  • Ensure that the store and all its properties are upholding the expectations of the Keeling Company brand: exceeding customer service expectations, cleanliness, atmosphere, and high energy.
  • All other duties are assigned by the branch manager or the Keeling Company leadership team.
