About The Position

Looking for a Cool Job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team representing the industry leader in HVAC equipment? The Counter Sales Driver is responsible for our sales counter as well as loads, delivers, and transports of HVAC freight and materials. The ultimate goal of this role is to provide strong customer service and to procure, process, and dispatch products to customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.
  • Possess a clean driving record: No more than one moving violation in any one year period.
  • No more than one preventable accident in any two year period.
  • No restrictions, suspensions or DUI convictions in the past 3 years.
  • Ability to pass DOT physical examination requirements.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently, but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
  • A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
  • Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Represent GEMAIRE as a leader in the industry ensuring maximum sales.
  • Interact with internal and outside sales people, vendors and contractors.
  • Responsible for showroom merchandising and re-stocking product.
  • Assist in resolving customer relations problems with both dealers and end users.
  • Complete sales order process for customers with efforts to up-sell associated items.
  • Load and unload products for delivery in assigned region.
  • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
  • Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking, verifying orders, and several Warehouse duties.
  • Responsible for daily checklist of truck maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Held accountable for all other duties as assigned.
