About The Position

Key Refrigeration Supply (KRS) is seeking a Counter Sales Clerk to join our team. This role involves direct customer interaction, assisting with product purchases, and maintaining the organization and stocking of showroom and warehouse areas.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED required
• At least two (2) years’ experience in HVAC/R Industry
• Ethical conduct
• Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Product knowledge
• Good understanding of ERP system
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two (2) years of Sales experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they come into the branch or call on the phone
• Order taking, invoicing and quoting
• Research and place special orders with vendor or Purchasing Dept.
• Verifying pricing accuracy
• Prepare orders for will call, delivery or shipping
• Follow up on Direct ships and Deliveries
• Keep accurate and detailed notes
• Cycle counting inventory
• Keeping KRS email and calendar current
• General housekeeping of the showroom and warehouse
• Keeping showroom stocked
• Help customers troubleshoot various technical issues
• Performs other related duties as assigned
