About The Position

White Cap is hiring a Counter Sales Associate to serve walk-in, phone, and will-call customers. The role provides customer service, processes orders and quotes, shares product and warranty information, offers technical product guidance, helps resolve customer problems, and identifies opportunities to recommend related products and promotions. The associate may also pull orders and perform other duties as assigned.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers.
• Process orders, quote prices, enter orders into the system, and provide order information to customers.
• Pull orders as required.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and their applications by providing technical advice, troubleshooting, and helping resolve customer problems.
• Upsell by identifying related products and add-on extensions and informing customers about product promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
