About The Position

The Counter Sales Associate provides an exceptional customer experience, supports day-to-day store operations, and contributes to sales goals. The role involves collaborating with the Store Manager and local team to manage inventory, maintain store appearance, record received and shipped products, and prepare items for shipment. The associate may perform as Store Manager when needed, including scheduling, ordering, and opening and closing procedures. This is a salaried non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay when applicable and for a bonus under the applicable company plan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Interested in advancement and able to contribute as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service using product expertise and selling skills.
• Maintain the appearance of the store.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager and local team on day-to-day store operations and inventory management.
• Record received and shipped products and prepare items for shipment.
• Complete all assigned training within the given timeframe.
• Perform as Store Manager when needed, including scheduling, ordering, and carrying out open and close procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
