About The Position

O'Dell HVAC Group is seeking a Counter Sales Associate & Warehouse Support employee to join their Operations team in their Moncton office. This role involves supporting day-to-day counter sales operations by assisting customers with product inquiries, order processing, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, the role supports warehouse functions including receiving, packing, picking, and shipping orders in a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The position reports to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • A high-school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a warehouse/distribution centre environment, including the use of ERP
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with prior experience in a sales/customer service-based environment.
  • A valid forklift license, and previous experience with a forklift
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • The ability to bend, lift, crouch, kneel and lift up to 75lbs
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for counter sales inquiries, including walk-in, phone, and email requests, ensuring prompt, knowledgeable, and professional service.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple counter transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and customer satisfaction.
  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Pick and pack orders efficiently, ensuring items are correct and ready for shipment.
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery and pick-up, coordinating timelines as required.
  • Label and organize products systematically to support efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP software, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, contributing to a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
