About The Position

The Count Team member is responsible for the safe and efficient handling and movement of casino tickets and cash. This role involves accurately counting and recording relevant casino effects, maintaining money-room security, and performing other duties related to the handling of monetary units as necessary for the professional administration of the casino. The position requires maintaining a clean work area and handling a large volume of cash and chips.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Ten-key proficiency.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.
  • Ability to maneuver fast.
  • Ability to push or pull over 200 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 25 pounds consistently.
  • Ability to stretch, bend, kneel, twist, and reach.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

  • Above average oral communication skills.
  • High capacity for learning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform safe and efficient handling and movement of casino tito tickets and cash.
  • Perform correct counting and recording of relevant casino effects.
  • Unload carts, unlock and lock boxes, reload carts, count and wrap TITO tickets, record, secure, and store them.
  • Verify chip counts, perform ten-key data entry, export data, and transport paperwork to accounting.
  • Perform other functions pertaining to handling of monetary units as necessary for the professional administration of casino.
  • Maintain money-room security according to rules.
  • Clean work area as designated by management.
  • Handle large volume of cash and chips.
